I break betting odds news as it happens, so you’re never left behind when the market moves or a top offer lands.

  • Wes Streeting is now 10/3 favourite to be the UK’s next Prime Minister following speculation of an internal Labour Party power struggle.
  • Nigel Farage remains prominent in the betting, priced at 11/2 as Reform UK builds momentum.
  • Angela Rayner and Shabana Mahmood are also in contention, while Andy Burnham and Ed Miliband remain longer shots.

Wes Streeting has emerged as the new favourite to become the next Prime Minister, with odds shortening to 10/3 following explosive reports of Labour leadership unrest.

The Health Secretary has hit back at claims he’s "plotting" to take over from Sir Keir Starmer, calling the briefing war “self-defeating nonsense.”

Despite his denial of any leadership challenge, the betting markets have reacted quickly with bookmakers mixing things up.

Streeting now leapfrogs Reform UK’s Nigel Farage in the betting to become the UK’s next Prime Minister with Farage drifting slightly to 11/2.

Streeting joked that the political manoeuvring was “the worst attack on a faithful since Joe Marler was banished in The Traitors final".

Bet365's latest market now gives an implied probability of 23.1% that Streeting will become the next PM.

Who Are The Challengers Behind Streeting?

Nigel Farage (11/2) remains a potent threat in the eyes of bookmakers.

The Reform UK leader continues to generate headlines and attract grassroots support, especially in constituencies disillusioned with both Labour and the Conservatives.

A populist surge, coupled with a strong showing in the upcoming local or general elections, could catapult him to genuine contention particularly if political chaos deepens.

Further back, Andy Burnham (11/1) looms as the classic "if he returns to Westminster" candidate, while Kemi Badenoch (14/1) sits as the highest-rated Conservative, appealing to those betting on a post-election Tory leadership reset.
