OLBG Twitter followers make her 41% favourite to be their next PM

OLBG's Twitter followers make Penny Mordaunt the most popular pick to be Prime Minister next.

In our Twitter poll based on the four leading candidates in the betting market, Mordaunt came out on top in front of Tom Tugendhat.

With 41.7% of the vote, the realistic odds of Mordaunt being Prime Minister according to our Twitter followers should be 7/5 rather than the 7/2 she is now.

This would make her a favourite in front of Rishi Sunak, who has a 36.4% chance of being the next PM according to the betting odds.

Boris Johnson remains Prime Minister despite resigning last week

Boris Johnson is still the Prime Minister of the UK with September looking like his most popular exit date.

It's odds of 1/4 that Johnson leaves his post in September with an 80% chance of that happening according to bookmakers.

August is the second favourite date at 4/1, with things potentially speeding up in the race for Johnson's replacement.

ITV have announced that they will hold a live television debate with the Conservative leadership candidates on Sunday 17th July at 7pm.

This will give us a clearer picture of who will be the leaders to take over from Boris Johnson at the head of UK politics.

Boris Johnson is expected to leave his role as UK Prime Minister in September, with bookies giving him an 80% chance of doing so. August is 4/1 in the market as the process may speed up over the coming weeks.
