Steven Gerrard now 4/1 to make sensational return to Rangers

Betting odds are now offered with UK Betting Sites on the next Rangers manager with the Scottish giants set to sack Philippe Clement after 16 months in charge.

Rangers were defeated 2-0 at home to St Mirren on Saturday which seemed to be the final nail in the coffin for Clement's reign in charge of the club.

Now Rangers are on the hunt for their fourth manager in four years and it may well be a familiar face that makes his way back to Ibrox next.

Steven Gerrard is the 4/1 favourite with BetVictor for the job with the bookmaker already offering odds on who will take over next.

Gerrard is without a club after leaving Saudi club Al-Ettifaq by mutual consent on 29 January this year.

Philippe Clement set to part ways with Rangers after defeat to St Mirren

With their latest defeat seeing them go 13 points adrift of rivals Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership, Rangers bosses have decided to part ways with Philippe Clement.

Rangers have yet to officially confirm the sacking at the time of writing, but news reports across sports media have revealed that Clement is set to leave.

Celtic's League Cup Final victory over Rangers in December led to many wanting Clement to be sacked then but the board gave him more time.

Rangers 13 points off top spot in Scottish Premiership

Betting odds are still given on the next Rangers manager despite that 13 point gap between them and Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

The Gers are 33/1 to perform a miracle and win the league this season in what would surely be the biggest bottle there has ever been by Celtic.

Brendan Rodgers team are 1/200 to win the league and it looks unlikely there will be any other outcome.
