Current Plymouth boss Steven Schumacher is due to take over at Stoke City in the next 48 hours with reports from Talksport saying he has agreed to move.

Schumacher has been a brilliant boss for Plymouth after getting them promoted to the Championship after 13 years away from the division with the League One title last season.

Now though it's a much different task on his hands with Stoke looking to get back into the Premier League for the first time since 2018.

Plymouth currently sit in 16th place in the Championship with the latest betting odds putting them as the 5th favourites to be relegated this season.

Bookies give an implied probability of 22% that they go down this year with current odds of 7/2 putting them behind QPR, Huddersfield, Sheffield Wednesday and Rotherham in the market.

Rotherham are heavy favourites to go down with bookies putting them at 1/33 to be relegated to League One at the end of the campaign.
