Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna is the 5/4 favourite to be the next Crystal Palace manager
Betting is now available on who will be the next Crystal Palace manager with bookmakers offering odds on who will eventually be Roy Hodgson's replacement.
Current Ipswich Town manager Kieran McKenna could be the man who takes over from Hodgson according to the latest betting market which looks at the contenders.
McKenna is currently shining in his first full management role with automatic promotion from League One last season followed by an impressive campaign so far in the Championship.
The Tractor Boys currently sit 4th in the Championship table and are well in contention for an automatic spot in the league this season and this has made McKenna sought after.
BetVictor's latest odds now put McKenna as the 5/4 favourite to become the next manager of Crystal Palace with Steve Cooper and Scott Parker joint second favourites.
Next Crystal Palace Manager | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Kieran McKenna | 5/4 | 44.4% |
Steve Cooper | 6/1 | 14.3% |
Scott Parker | 6/1 | 14.3% |
Oliver Glasner | 8/1 | 11.1% |
Graham Potter | 8/1 | 11.1% |
Bookies offer odds with Roy Hodgson's position as manager under threat
Palace's 3-1 defeat to Chelsea on Monday evening will have just heaped even more pressure on Hodgson's position in charge of the club.
The 76-year-old said he was confident that he would keep the Eagles in the Premier League after last night's game, but his side crumbled once again during the match.
Hodgson's Palace side have won just twice in the last 15 games and that form will no doubt see the board question if they should make a change.

Palace have shortened into just 6/1 to be relegated from the Premier League this season
Palace have now shortened down to just 7/1 now to be relegated this season with their inconsistent form and massive upcoming fixtures playing a big part in that.
The Eagles have got Everton away and Burnley at home in their next two games and two losses there will see them fully dragged into the relegation mix.
Sheffield United remain 1/33 to be relegated this season despite winning away at Luton Town on Saturday afternoon.
Premier League Relegation 23/24 | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Sheffield United | 1/33 | 97.1% |
Burnley | 1/8 | 88.9% |
Luton Town | 10/11 | 52.4% |
Nottingham Forest | 6/4 | 40.0% |
Everton | 3/1 | 25.0% |
Crystal Palace | 6/1 | 14.3% |
