Ricardo Rodríguez is now the 1/2 favourite to take over at Aberdeen next
Ricardo Rodríguez is now the 1/2 favourite with bookies to be the next Aberdeen manager with the betting market changing drastically in the past 24 hours.
Rodríguez was as big as 10/1 yesterday but Chris Wilder signing for Watford has made the market move around and the Spanish manager is the new favourite.
BetVictor say there's a 66% chance of Rodríguez taking over at Pittodrie next with the manager being available since leaving Urawa Red Diamonds back in October.
Next Aberdeen Manager | Odds | Probability |

Neil Lennon | 8/1 | 11.1% |
Derek McInnes | 8/1 | 11.1% |
Steve Clarke | 12/1 | 7.7% |
Caretaker manager Barry Robson has been backed in slightly to 6/1 from 8/1 for the vacant job after 3 wins in his last 4 games in charge.
Former favourite Chris Wilder was appointed as Watford manager on Tuesday
Chris Wilder has long been the favourite to take over at Aberdeen but all changed yesterday with the manager taking over at Watford.
Wilder had reportedly held talks with Dons chiefs about taking over at Pittodrie but in the space of 30 minutes since Watford dismissed Slaven Bilic yesterday he'd taken over at Vicarage Road.
This may well have been a blow for Aberdeen who thought highly of Wilder and they'll now be looking for someone else to take over.

Aberdeen now as short as 1/5 to finish in the Top 6 this season
Aberdeen's odds have shortened further to finish in the Top 6 this campaign with their odds moving in from 4/6 that they were at the start of February.
Barry Robson has overseen wins over Motherwell, Livingston and Dundee United in recent weeks and the Dons will be looking to continue their strong form.
Three points now separate 5th place Aberdeen with 7th place Livingston in the Scottish Premiership table and this may make the board look to signing Robson on a permanent basis as manager.
