Barry Robson is now into 2/1 joint favourite to be the next Aberdeen manager
Current interim Aberdeen manager Barry Robson is now into 2/1 with bookies to be the next Aberdeen manager with his spell in charge impressing Dons fans.
Robson had been backed in slightly in the past week to 6/1 following a strong run of games in charge of the Dons but his odds have now tumbled further into the 2/1 joint favourite for the role permanently.
BetVictor say there's a 33% chance that Robson is offered the job on a full-time basis and it could be the easiest decision that the Dons board make, at least until the end of the season.

Steve Clarke | 4/1 | 20.0% |

Neil Lennon | 8/1 | 11.1% |
Steve Clarke has also been a big market mover in the past week with his odds coming into 4/1 from 12/1 to be the next manager of the Dons.
Former odds-on favourite Ricardo Rodríguez is also 2/1 now to get the Dons job
Ricardo Rodríguez was odds-on at 1/2 to be the next Aberdeen manager just last week but has drifted slightly in the betting out to 2/1 now.
Rodríguez had been as big as 10/1 but former favourite Chris Wilder signing for Watford made the market move around and the Spanish manager was backed in.
The latest betting odds say there's a 33% chance of Rodríguez taking over at Pittodrie next with the manager being available since leaving Urawa Red Diamonds back in October.

Aberdeen now as short as 1/8 to finish in the Top 6 this season
Aberdeen have been backed in further to finish in the Top 6 this campaign with their odds moving in from 4/6 that they were at the start of February.
Interim boss Barry Robson has overseen wins over Motherwell, Livingston and Dundee United in recent weeks and the Dons will be looking to continue their strong form.
Two points now separate 5th place Aberdeen with 7th place Livingston in the Scottish Premiership table and this may make the board look to signing Robson on a permanent basis as manager.
