Rashford expected to move away from Old Trafford this month
Ruben Amorim's appointment as Manchester United manager was seemingly the beginning of the end of Rashford's time at Old Trafford with the Portuguese manager repeatedly speaking out about the player in the press.
Amorim was once again asked about Rashford's future after United's 3-1 loss at home to Brighton on Sunday saying, "I am not going to put a player I don’t believe is the best for the team."
Dortmund are second favourites to sign Rashford this window with his former manager Erik ten Hag linked with taking over the German club if they were to sack Nuri Sahin.
Ruben Amorim reportedly looking to change squad
This January window could see big change take place at Manchester United with Ruben Amorim looking to sign players who fit his 5-at-the-back formation system.
Amorim described his current Man United side as the "worst in history" of the club with the Red Devils just 10 points above the Premier League relegation zone.
Reports in The Athletic now on Monday morning say that Lecce left-back Patrick Dorgu could be the first reinforcement for Amorim as he looks to strengthen his squad.
The move would likely kick-off a busy final period of the transfer window that will see a few incomings and outgoings at Old Trafford.
