Liz Truss is 7/4 to win the Conservative Leadership vote by 60-65%

Liz Truss is expected to be the next Conservative Party leader and bookies are giving odds on the percentage she wins the vote by.

The favourite is 60-65% with two thirds expected to vote for Truss in the Conservative leader members ballot.

Smarkets make it 7/4 that Truss wins by 60-65%, with 65-70% just behind in the betting market at 5/2.

Liz Truss run-off vote share
Odds Probability
45-50% 15/1 6.2%
50-55% 13/1 7.1%
55-60% 5/1 16.7%
60-65% 7/4 36.4%
65-70% 5/2 28.6%
Over 70 7/1 12.5%

45-50% is the longest odds in the odds at 15/1, with a big margin expected for Truss' victory than that.

Over 70% would be an absolute landslide to say the least and there's a 12.5% chance of that happening according to the odds.

Liz Truss is 7/4 to win the Tory leadership vote by 60-65% with bookies making that the expected margin judging by the odds.

Tom Tugendhat is 11/4 favourite to be Next Foreign Secretary

Tom Tugendhat is the 11/4 favourite to be the Next Foreign Secretary and take over from Liz Truss's current role.

Tugendhat is favourite to take over from Truss in the role as Foreign Secretary but it's not clear who Truss will want in her cabinet if and when she takes over.

Ben Wallace is second favourite in the market at 4/1 with Penny Mordaunt also featuring at odds of 13/2.

Truss is now 1/11 to be the next Prime Minister according to the bookies

Bookmakers now make Liz Truss 1/11 to take over as the Next Prime Minister with Rishi Sunak's opposition looking dead in the water.

It's been a long time since Rishi Sunak was 4/1 favourite to be the Next Prime Minister, back at the start of July to be precise.

Since then we've seen votes come and go for a variety of candidates but now we're left with Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak.

Rishi Sunak is now 8/1 to be the next Prime Minister with bookies giving him just an 11.1% chance of doing so.

Liz Truss is 1/11 to be the next Prime Minister with it expected to happen in the next month.
