Market Reshuffled as Speculation Builds Ahead of 2027 Series
Last One Laughing Season 3 won't air until 2027, but the betting market is already taking shape, and the favourite has shifted in a meaningful way over the past two months.
Harry Hill has moved to the top of the contestant market at 4/5, an implied probability of 55.56%, making him the first name many now expect to see in the next series of Amazon's comedy hit.
The shift comes after Matt Berry, once the 6/4 favourite, has slipped to 3/1.
Peter Serafinowicz sits second at 5/4 (44.44%), with Alex Horne and Rhod Gilbert level at 6/4 (40.00%) just behind him.
Why Harry Hill Has Shortened
Harry Hill ticks every box the show typically looks for.
He's unpredictable, instantly recognisable, and his comedic style, broad, surreal and visual, would feel naturally suited to a format where the goal is to crack other comedians up while keeping a straight face yourself.
The TV Burp host is also one of those rare comedians whose appearance alone tends to make people laugh, which would put him in a strong position both as a contestant trying to make others break and as a target his rivals would struggle to ignore.
The Updated Market in Full
The top of the market is dominated by recognisable, well-established names, a clear continuation of the pattern set across Series 1 and 2.

Strong Contenders in the Middle of the Market
Behind the front four, Lee Mack and Lucy Porter at 2/1 form a strong second tier. Both bring quick wit and fast-paced delivery, and Mack in particular has been a fan-favourite shout for the format ever since Series 1.
Jon Richardson, Matt Berry and Kayvan Novak are all available at 3/1. Berry's drift from 6/4 favourite earlier in the year is the most notable market move so far, though he remains one of the most-discussed names whenever the next cast is brought up.
At the longer end, Kathy Burke and Jo Brand sit at 4/1, with Greg Davies the rank outsider of the listed market at 5/1.
What's Next for LOL UK
Prime Video has confirmed that Last One Laughing will return for a third season in 2027, with a Halloween Special arriving later this year. Jimmy Carr and Roisin Conaty have both been confirmed to host the Halloween Special and Season 3.
The Season 3 cast itself has not yet been announced. Until it is, this market will keep moving, and with Harry Hill having shortened to 4/5, expect more sharp swings as further hints emerge from production over the coming months.
