- West Ham (15/8) now lead the market for Mourinho’s next club after his Fenerbahçe sacking.
- Rangers (7/2) and Wolves (7/1) follow in the betting.
- Earlier this month, Bayer Leverkusen were 5/2 favourites after Ten Hag left Man United.
From Fenerbahçe Exit to West Ham Links
Jose Mourinho is back in the managerial spotlight after being dismissed by Fenerbahçe in August 2025 following their failure to qualify for the Champions League.
Bookmakers now make West Ham (15/8) the frontrunners for his next job, with speculation growing that he could replace Graham Potter, who is under pressure at the London Stadium.
Elsewhere, Rangers (7/2) and Wolves (7/1) are viewed as outside contenders, while a lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League (7/1) remains possible.
The latest market now suggests an implied probability of 34.8% that Mourinho will become the next manager of West Ham with a change potentially on the cards.
Last weekend the Hammers were thumped by Tottenham at the London Stadium and pressure is mounting on Potter with question marks still surrounding his appointment.

Odds Compared to Last Update
When OLBG last covered this market in at the start of September (full article here), the picture looked very different:
Bayer Leverkusen were originally favourites in the market with rumours suggesting Mourinho could replace Erik ten Hag in the role.
They have since appointed Kasper Hjulmand which rules Mourinho out and West Ham have shortened from 6/1 into 15/8.

Leading Contenders
West Ham (15/8): Strong speculation Potter may leave soon. Mourinho would bring stability and experience for a squad with European ambitions.
Rangers (7/2): Pressure is mounting on Russell Martin and the new Ibrox board could make a bold statement appointment.
Wolves (7/1): Long-term links with Portuguese managers make this possible, but finances could prove a stumbling block.
Saudi Pro League (7/1): The money remains on the table though Mourinho has spoken of preferring elite European football.
Manchester United (14/1): A second spell would be sensational, but remains highly unlikely at present.
