Joao Felix now 1/2 to sign Aston Villa in the January Transfer Window

We’re into the final days of the January Transfer Window and we could see some big moves happening with Joao Felix favourite to move to Aston Villa according to UK Betting Sites before the window slams shut.

Felix signed for Chelsea in the summer for ÂŁ45m from Atletico Madrid but reports suggest that the Blues are already open to letting him leave this January.

Villa could be the perfect option for Felix to head to after Jhon Duran is expected to leave for Saudi Arabia in the last days of the transfer window.

BetVictor's latest odds go 1/2 that Felix signs for Villa with an implied probability of 66.7% that the transfer happens and Unai Emery signs the player.

What the expert says..
Chelsea forward Joao Felix is now odds-on to join Aston Villa in the final days of the window with Unai Emery set to be in the market for a replacement for the departing Jhon Duran who is set to head to Saudi Arabia.

Axel Disasi could be the spanner in the works for the transfer happening

Aston Villa are close to signing Axel Disasi on loan from Chelsea in the first of two potential moves between the two clubs in the current window.

That move though could well stop any chance of Felix signing for Aston Villa with a loan move unable to happen if the Disasi loan deal takes place.

It means that Felix would have to move permanently to Villa Park with Premier League rules only allowing for one loan signing from one club.
