The Greyhound Oaks 2024: Preview
The Oaks is one of the oldest greyhound competitions still in existence with the original running taking place in 1927.
The first round is on Saturday 5th October.
The final field has not yet been released - once the runners are confirmed we will add a preview here.

Greyhound Oaks 2024: Qualifying Details
The Oaks is run over four rounds over 480 metres:
- Round One has twelve heats where the first three dogs from each race move forward to Round Two
- Round Two has six heats with the first three dogs from each race move forward to the Semi-FInals
- There are three Semi-Finals with the first two dogs from each race qualifying for the Final

Where Can I Watch The Greyhound Oaks?
The Oaks is part of the BAGS service in betting shops and can also be watched via bookmaker sites such as Betfair or William Hill.
As Perry Barr is one of the PGR tracks, all races will be shown live on the Attheraces Greyhound Channel

Greyhound Oaks 2023: Results
No Rush, trained by Carol Weatherall, won the 2023 £20,000 Greyhound Oaks by half-a-length from Jet Stream Angel, in a calculated time of 28.08.
No Rush was sent off the 15/8 favourite and just prevailed in a thrilling race which saw the first four dogs covered by two lengths.
The Semi-finals of the Oaks took place on Saturday 21st October.
