Football Transfers

We are now seeing more and more betting markets on individual football players.

These markets speculate on which clubs the particular player will be transferred to, as bettors we can back a player, and if that particular player completes a move to the club we have a winning bet.

These markets ebb and flow as each whisper and rumour are published.

In many cases, it is just “paper talk” or it can be the player's agent testing the water to see if there is interest from a particular club, the agent can benefit financially if the player secures a move or in some instances, there is no smoke without fire.

So, we always need our wits about us when placing a bet on these markets + you do need to shop around as online bookmaker prices vary wildly between different firms.

So please always make sure you take the best odds-on offer from online bookmakers.

Remember also to always consider that when a player leaves especially for a large fee the selling club will be in the market for a replacement, we saw that Aston Villa made a couple of bids for Emile Smith Rowe the talented Arsenal playmaker, we can speculate that the sale of Jack Grealish was on their mind when they made those bids for the Gunner.

On this blog, we will try and keep you updated with the changing odds and latest rumours.

The blog will be updated regularly, so please do check back.
