The Jamie Snowden trained Doc McCoy is the last of Jamie's 3 runners on tonight's card. He won well at Ffos Las in a conditional jockeys race under Izzi Ryder, and followed up without a penalty when winning last time out at Fontwell. The handicapper has given him a 12lbs hike in the weights but Izzi takes 7lbs off here. He is unexposed over this trip and hopefully he can continue his good form.

Just six starts over hurdles for the 7yo, he has a win and has been a close runner-up twice. He went very close on his handicap debut a year ago - solid looking form. He was a decent 3rd four weeks ago and should be ready for a big run. On a decent mark, should be fine on the quick ground and he has a strong jockey in the saddle.

The model I run has suggested Getalead could win this one. Getalead lines up here with the highest RPR of the 9-runner field and doesn't look overly penalized for it in the weights. Comes here having shown some form when placing in 3 races on the bounce, the last of those coming only 10 days ago. Needs to show a bit more to get over the line first, but having only raced 10 days ago, race fitness shouldn't be a concern. The model has issued a 'very low' stake indicator, which has been driven by the small gap back to second in the race simulation. This translates to a 0.5pt bet on a scale of 0-4.

Has been coming down in the weights. Didn't like the ground last time out at Worcester. Headgear back on today and well supported as a good outsider's chance.

Jack The Savage's form has dropped off lately. He has only won one bumper and one hurdle race in 27 races under rules. However, he had four 2nds and three 3rd places in hurdle races and could get at least a place, dropped to a mark of 97 with Kevin Brogan back on board.
