Kept on inside the final furlong when 3rd of 15 over a mile on the Chelmsford Tapeta last time out. Will welcome the drop in trip, being a winner over this trip on the Rowley course here in the race prior to that.

Has a chance here up in grade. Won well on turf last year and won on AW on penultimate start in December. Needed the run last time, 3 weeks ago, and looks on a good mark here.

Saffie Osborne weaved her way through to win on Hickory over 7f at Ascot first time out this season off 86. His best form recently has been restricted to Ascot. But although a seven-year-old and trained at Newmarket by James Fanshawe until this May, he has yet to run at Newmarket on either course and could be suited to it. He had an interrupted early career, winning his only two-year-old race over 7f at Yarmouth, then did not run as a three-year-old and then won his next two races as a four-year-old over 7f at Kempton in October and December 2022. He has often run well in big field handicaps on a straight course and should go close off a mark of 90.

CRACKING GOLD has yet to fire on the flat but is showing signs of getting there with a decent run from a high draw at Chester. That was in a much tougher race than this assignment, and with a decent looking run at Newmarket last season to his name, I think he lands a race on the flat before too long. Hopefully gets close regardless.
