A strong early pace could set things up nicely for Binhareer to come from off the pace being a former winner over further. He was the beaten favourite when 6th of 27 in the Wokingham over this trip at Royal Ascot last month and will be suited by this smaller field too.

Three year old Song Of The Clyde beat Albert Einstein over course and distance in a Listed race in May and was not disgraced at Royal Ascot when 7th of 22 in the Group 1 Commonwealth Cup and now takes on his elders.

This fairly weak group 3 looks there for the taking by pretty much any of these, and it was Jasour who perhaps may finally have found a chance to gain another win. Hardly prolific, he's done way less winning than he should have done based on his early exploits. Indeed no wins since May 2024 tells its own story, but eventually you'd hope something might drop in. He couldn't have been dropped into a race with many more questions about every horse in the field, so I'll chance him. His two efforts this season on flatter tracks bring some hope, and he was way too keen last time to have any chance of lasting home in a Group 1 at Royal Ascot. He tends to race forward, and in a race that lacks overall pace it could benefit to just let him roll and see if they catch him. The hood/tongue tie combination has been tried four times in recent times, and has produced one of his peak RPRs of 113.

Noble Champion is officially the highest-rated horse in here, yet he is the complete outsider. He lacks consistency, but if he gets a fast-run 6 furlongs, he may cause a minor surprise.
