Big field here. Unexposed and is running well, improving PRB every race. Ran a big speed figure 2 runs ago and should travel strongly into this.

Ran a good race last time out when 3rd at this course 31 days ago and looks open to improvement. Well backed and cheekpieces back on.

Mighty Real is lightly raced and steadily improving, with a recent solid effort at Chepstow. Proven over 7f on sound ground, partnered with Tom Marquand, and capable of progressing from a workable mark.

Roundabout Silver is a 6-year-old gelding trained by Simon Dow. He is a two-time winner on turf, posting RPR of 69-68, both wins coming under today's jockey, Paddy Bradley. He takes his chance today in a classified 0-50 stakes. In his last two runs at Lingfield, he finished 4/10 over 10f, beaten 1.5 lengths under Paddy Bradley, losing two places near the finish. His last run here was over today's 7f, again under Paddy, and he finished 3/9, beaten 3/4 length, again losing two places in the dying stages, having been in front in first-time blinkers. That was a glimmer of hope that Roundabout Silver is finding some form. Paddy Bradley rides again today, and the blinkers are retained. Roundabout Silver, who would trounce these in his prime, can turn back the clock and record another win. The 18-1 also looks a tad overpriced.

Laurentia is in stall 14 with Liam Wright riding for Stephanie Cassidy. She ran a solid third here over 8f 31 days ago, showing signs of returning to form after a quiet spell. She has placed before at this course and distance and has a decent record on AW too. Her handicap mark is 47, which looks fair to me given her recent runs. Cheekpieces are back on, which have helped her place before. With a 10% win rate in this class, she has a good chance if she can continue to build on recent runs. The stall draw is wide, but she should settle mid-division. Pace looks steady, so a strong late run is possible here.

Spirit Charmer has not won yet! It has run a couple of promising races off a mark of 50. Now into a classified race on a mark of 44 with Oisin Murphy on top. Worth an E/W bet!

Lady Diesel is a lightly raced 3-year-old filly with just seven starts. She makes her stable debut for Barry Brennan and is owned by The Milk Sheiks, and Brennan is a trainer who does well with stable switchers. He won on a horse called Miguc Shuffle on stable debut at Bath at 50-1 under Tom Marquand (then moved to today's owners The Milk Sheiks), which seemed in hindsight a significant jockey booking. His last runner at Lingfield, Legendary Day, was making its second start for the stable and won at 66-1 under Cieran O'Neill, another notable jockey booking. Barry Brennan is 6/13 placed at Lingfield since 2023. The owners, the Milk Sheiks, have also tasted some success, winning six times with Mr Whizz, who popped up at 40-1 on AW and also won at 33-1. Lady Diesel drops into a classified stakes for the first time, and Charlie Bishop again looks like a notable jockey booking for such a small outfit.
