FAR AWAY WEST has improved for new connections and was probably best at this trip last time out. That mid-division finish came from two pounds higher in the weights and with today's jockey on board. Can certainly make a stronger case for this one than the three immediately ahead of her in the market, so there are each-way claims I'd say. I'd be surprised if she finished bottom two, so we should get a run for our money.

Adam Nichol's front-running 7yo looks interesting in the first time blinkers. He may have found the combination of a Cl4 handicap allied with his third run in 22 days too much when running an uncharacteristically poor race at Ayr 26 days ago. Although never having run here before, this tight hurdles track, only a mile round, should suit him down to the ground.
