Now that this horse has got the winning thread, I fancy him to make it a hat trick of wins off this 4lb higher mark. He was even outpaced at a point in that previous win before running on really well. The key with that form is firstly that he showed a great attitude to get back up, and secondly that this extra furlong looks certain to suit and will play to his stamina strengths. Looks to have a huge chance and will love these conditions more than most.

Veteran, who is yet to win this season, has been running fairly consistently and wasn't beaten far when 3rd off this mark over this trip at Ayr last time. Unlikely to be far away in this poor race.

Sea Master has been knocking on the door recently with solid placed efforts and now gets his chance to strike. He’s well handicapped, stays this trip strongly, and looks ready to peak in this modest contest. With consistent form and conditions to suit, he’s preferred over the short-priced Dubai Venture. A reliable win bet at fair odds.

Beaten five lengths in a handicap over 1m6f at Carlisle last time. Drop back 1f, a plus. Course and distance winner, pretty consistent, and rating now on a very workable mark. Should be in the mix.

This one won for me last time at Musselburgh and is a 4-time winner over 12+13f. He goes up 5lb for this but is still well in on A/W form despite never having won over 46 on turf. This trainer and jockey have struck up a good partnership and could follow up if this course suits as well.

Coming here in good form after winning here LTO at a slightly shorter distance last month. Raised mark but with a 3lb claimer, so I do think she has a chance if improvements are made today.

Four-time winner Come On John looks interesting on his second start for this yard. His last win was at Wolverhampton in March. He was 5th on stable debut over 1m 2f at Newcastle last month, but the step up to 1m 5f off a 1lb lower mark makes him a good each-way bet here.

Seems odd, the huge rise in trip. They are either switching to a higher trip to test the water or giving the jockey an actual chance. The trainer is no stranger to Hamilton, but at the odds, I'm willing to pay to find out.

Parish Record has shown glimpses of promise at staying trips. Lightly raced and versatile ground-wise, she could improve now dropped in grade with conditions to suit.
