Flann Sunna has been impressive in both his starts and remains unbeaten this is his most difficult race yet but he can remain unbeaten.

The 2yo was only beaten a length in a 21 runner Royal Ascot Group 2 race six weeks ago. It was only his second career start and you could expect him to take another step forward in this Group 2 contest.

A P. O'Brien-trained Mans Best Friend won over this distance last time out at Naas, beating a big field with ease by front-running all the way in a fair time. If he gets to the front early, he could repeat that success.

Adaay Of Scarlett won a C4 novice on debut back in April and followed up with a C2 win at Ascot. He has finished second in all three runs since, with the last two runs being in G2. I think he has to be worth another shot in this 2yo's early days.

Clive Cox has won this race three times since 2019 and his winners generally come from the Coventry Stakes. Jaan Ki Tukri was a respectable 9th in that race this year when attempting to dominate a big field of 2yos, and was then fitted with cheekpieces to win his maiden at Ffos Las. Headgear retained here and in a smaller field than the Coventry there's a chance he can blast away from the front.

A two year old Irish horse, he won his first two starts, both over 5 furlongs at Thirsk and Sandown in April and May, one a listed race, before finishing 12th of 21 at Ascot in June, again over 5 furlongs. He makes his debut for a new Stable today, with Billy Loughnane, who is in good form, taking over on board.

Big Cigar has only had three runs but has won two of them, including on debut back in May. The latest run was a win at York on handicap debut, carrying top weight 9-9. He seems weighted today to be involved in this big step up in grade/class. EW

Mr McCartney ran well last time out finishing 7th in a hot contest at Royal Ascot. The step up to 6 furlongs on this fast track looks ideal and he's a huge each way price.
