Milan Forth has won 3 of his 8 starts over fences, and there could be more improvement to come from this lightly raced gelding. He won Hunter Chases at Clonmel and Down Royal last year and was 7th in the Aintree Foxhunters. He took a Cork Handicap Chase in January and, last month, was 2nd of 14 over today's course and distance. He is up 3 lbs but looks like a good EW bet with 4 places on offer.

A competitive affair for sure but I'm backing Eoin Griffin's 7 year old Gelding OL MAN DINGLE who carries top weight for a reason. This Son of OL MAN RIVER has been in deep deep waters in both Disciplines in his career & ran very well last time out in the Mayo National @Ballinrobe 21 days ago throwing down a challenge 3 from home before running out of puff, this drop back in trip & HUGE drop in class look like big positives. Jockey Shane O'Callaghan remains in the plate & sheds a very useful 5lbs & has a very respectable 40% win strike rate here @Kilbeggan the past year. Trainer arrives here with a 50% place strike rate the past fortnight. Lots to like.

Winner on latest outing for trainer Andrew McNamara over today's course and distance. That was his first run in handicap company, and he won by an easing-down seven-length margin. Upped 6 lb for that success, but I feel he could still be ahead of the handicapper.

This experienced runner has dropped in grade and has seen a 3 lb reduction in weight. With three victories at Kilbeggan, he has established himself as a formidable contender, making him an appealing each-way option at 18/1 for this favourable trip.

Wonleg ran a decent race for the majority of the Class 1 Red Rum Premier Handicap Chase at the Grand National meeting in April, finishing 5th of 15. The top yard has won two of the last six runnings of this, and stepping up in trip and down in grade could see them add to Henry de Bromhead's record in this. Has place chances at least in an open contest if getting this extra half a mile.

Inconsistent horse and unreliable, but the manner of the recent win at Punchestown suggests he is worth the punt. He will, however, have to contend with a five-pound penalty.

Rising Dust has solid claims and should be in the mix. He was well beaten in the Ladbrokes Trophy at Kempton, but that was a class rise, and he had been in good form before that. He has the course form, has already placed here, and the ground and trip look good.

Tipped this last run and just scraped into a place at nice odds. Has run well here in the past, and I think has another good run in it at these odds. Others worth a mention , I think , are Drumgill and Gaelic Arc.
