Horse has a nice each-way chance in this field. Will have no issues with the conditions and can go well on the back of a good recent run. Decent alternative to the favourite in this race.

Only 4th handicap start, and the last two runs have been encouraging??'hit the frame on both occasions. Gets weight off market principles, and this 5-year-old looks capable of winning at this level of handicap.

Galavanting George is a 5yo gelding trained by Gavin Cromwell. He is sired by the useful NH sire Order Of St George (IRE). He makes his handicap hurdle debut and is a foal related to four individual winners who posted RPRs of 131, 132, 137, and 136. He opens on a handicap mark of 105 despite having only posted a career-high RPR of 89, so the handicapper is taking no chances. He finished 4/13 in a maiden hurdle on his last start, beaten 24.5 lengths, and did well in the circumstances given he made two mistakes. 'Midfield, headway and prominent 3 out, mistake and lost position 2 out, weakening when mistake last.' The 5/13 Drop A Threat, some 24 lengths behind, has since posted an RPR of 112. This makes Galavanting George look potentially very well handicapped off 103 with Eoin Staples taking off 2 lb. Watch the market with keen interest, as he could be a blot on the handicap.

Trebizond finished fifth, beaten four and a half lengths last time out at Punchestown on 12 January. It was on a second run back after a layoff of more than two years.

The front two in the market were winners LTO and both have crushing penalties to carry. I’ll take a wild swing at Ian Donoghue’s bottom weight and 6 y/o “Walk in the Sea.” Off 82, this might be the spot where she shows us more. Uptaurintop hadn't achieved much in six runs before his handicap debut on his latest start. Hence he went off as a 50-1 outsider, but he outran those odds and was just beaten in a three-way photo. If he can repeat that effort, he should go close again, as he has shown he can handle this testing going.

Has run to just a modest level over hurdles so far, but had some useful form on the flat previously and is likely to do a lot better now moving into handicaps. Worth considering.

Big whopping odds for a reason & at first glance at the form line I understand BUT I genuinely thought Gavin Cromwell's 7 year old Gelding THE GUINNESS BOYS wasn't looking two bad 3 out @Punchestown (19f Soft/Heavy) 22 days ago, Now I'm not going to sit here & say this is nailed on far from it but if you look back over this still very unexposed charge 16f looks the more likely IF he is going to make a dent.
