  Tempted by Tom Doyle’s Goldmoyne here. They punted the socks off this lad LTO in Leopardstown but finished close to last. No excuse was offered up (trainer has stated in the past he’s headstrong). But back here at the Curragh, where he definitely reserves his best form, we might see a better version of him. He’s a 2-time course winner here (7f) and placed once from 4 visits. August is his month also, as he’s won in this month the last 2 years. Runs off 48 today (both winning marks 47), carrying bottom weight. Julian Pietripaolo’s 7lb and a return to this track all point to a potential decent showing...

  CURIOUS BRIDE is in foal, running well and in good order, and it might pay to stay onside with her. She's a 3x times winner in and around this 2-mile trip. Solid excuse for that no-show LTO, so that's easy to ignore. Prior to that, she won a 0-70 at Leopardstown 'comfortably' under today's rider Conor Cusack. Prior to that, she left a win behind at this venue in a 0-80 where she got cut off coming to claim victory. O'Connell states she loves the drier surface. It's a career-high mark, but Cusack's 7lb helps, and she's in good health. I'll take a chance.
