Has struggled for consistency but appears to be in the form of his career with two clear-cut wins. Admittedly, both were at a track he loves in Southwell, but he looks ready for this jump in class and will appreciate running off this low weight.

Starts races well, which is half the battle in sprint races. Handicapper has him only 2 lb above his last winning mark (over Gustav Graves, who won recently), and the claiming jockey takes off 5 lb. Strong chance and looks good value.

Potentially overpriced with two excellent runs since joining from the P2P scene. Clear-cut win at Newton Abbot, then stepped up in class and ran on for minor money at Cheltenham. Up against some powerful yards, but a repeat effort of the last two runs will see him feature.

Haas Boy has been rejuvenated since joining Chester Williams, and two wins at Class 4 level have had form franked. There were more signs of progression when he was runner-up to an unexposed rival at Class 3 level. He returns to this grade and looks the one to beat for me. NB

James Owen has taken a few from Timothy Doyle's stable, and they've been slow burners but are starting to progress at low-level UK AW racing. Silkies Sib has already attracted market support and is 4 lb lower than his UK debut. The trainer has been picking up wins, and the market suggests he's worth getting on at the current price.
