The step up to nine furlongs today looks like a smart piece of placing by connections. The way she finished off her race last time strongly indicates that this slightly longer distance will suit her perfectly. She runs today off an official mark of 78, and with the ground drying out to good-to-firm, her smooth, low action should be perfectly suited to the conditions.

Unlucky not to get his head in front this season after finishing 3rd at Naas and then 2nd at Navan. Raised 4 lb for his latest effort, but he has plenty of improvement in the locker after only four career runs. Dropping back to 9f looks ideal this afternoon after being outstayed in his latest race over 10f. Huge chance today.

Antigua has the profile of a well-bred colt from a top yard, and if he improves again he could be a serious player here.

She's been progressive so far this season and put up her best performance at the Curragh last time when a close 3rd. Will need luck in running given her style of racing but well worth a second look as she steps up in trip.

Monvoe arrives for this one in cracking form with three wins and three second-placed efforts in the last six outings. Looks each-way value here, with some firms offering six places.

This horse won twice last season. On reappearance this season it was beaten by just under 3 lengths by a horse that went on to win a Group Two race. I fancy this horse can build on that run and go close today.

Was rusty on reappearance run last time, but connections thought she was Group class last year. Ground was against her in the GP3. Sights lowered here, and looks big at 50s.

Some good prize money on offer here and there are representatives of many top stables in what looks a very competitive field. It may be worth taking a chance on Brownstown to outrun her big odds. She hasnt managed to add to her debut win but has been highly tried in the interim. Time Test colt who is 0-4 so far, but his best two efforts came at this course at the Curragh, having finished 4th of 16 and 5th of 20 in a pair of maiden races. He may have needed the run when sixth at Leopardstown three weeks ago, but he should have more to offer second time up. He looks well treated, and Wesley Joyce claiming 3 lb looks to be a good booking.
