Quickened had the run of the race at a sharp track, slightly fortunate due to a late faller. Scored by three and a quarter lengths off 110 over 2m4f at Killarney three starts back. Top jockey back on board. Good mark on penultimate run. Should be in the mix each way.

Building Bridges is a 9-year-old gelding trained by Gary McGill, a trainer who has 7 wins out of 59 in the last 5 years, amassing a healthy LSP of £71.00. Building Bridges is a useful dual-purpose horse, winning twice on the flat, once at Bellewstown, and has 6 wins out of 23 over hurdles. 7 out of 8 wins have come on today's good ground (one of those on good to yielding). He usually wins over further rhan today's 17f but has won over shorter twice on the flat and picked up a 16f handicap hurdle at Huntingdon, so today's trip shouldn't present any problems. He sits just 1lb above the last winning mark of 129, and with conditions to suit, Building Bridgesaholds every chance under today's jockey, Mr. O McGill.

Might be worth taking a chance on this Noel Meade runner who did run well last month on the flat. But hurdles form prior to that looks interesting. Won over C&D, then made favorite to follow up but failed to reel in the winner.

Hasten Slowly will not be hanging around with the mare forcing the pace and pray that Alex Harvey can get the fractions right to be successful. She can be a clean hurdler, and with Alex Harvey taking off five pounds, I can see her being in the equation at the finish.

Fast Felix is a 7-year-old gelding trained by Eoin Christopher McCarthy and owned by Sean Maguire, a combination that has been working together since approximately 1998. Sean Maguire has had 15 winners since 1998, most of them associated with Eoin Christopher McCarthy. Together, they have had two runners at Bellewstown over jumps: Ollie La Ba Ba in 2023, who finished 5/11 at 22-1 and has won elsewhere since, and Ma Hoey in 2024, finishing 1/16, winning at 40-1. Fast Felix posted a career-high RPR of 108 on last start when finishing 2/16 at Listowel and hasn't gone unfancied in his last six starts, not being sent off bigger than 9-1 in 5 of the last 6 starts (once a 7-2cf) and placed in 5/9 starts over hurdles. He runs off a lowly 10st 5lb and potentially a lower handicap mark if a conditional jockey picks up the ride (hopefully G B Noonan as he's ridden 25 winners for Eoin Christopher McCarthy since 2012) as he's a second reserve and should go well off just 10st 5lb if making the cut.
