I feel this is a nice price on Davis Riley. Winner on the PGA Tour in each of the last two seasons. Riley had a good Valspar Championship in March, finishing in 7th place. With all the best players at the Truist Championship this week, Riley can win this event.

Kevin Yu is one of the most skilled players in the field. Last year he won Sanderson Farms. He had some good tournaments in 2025.

The defending champion looks to be in good form heading into his defense at The Dunes, and I am backing Chris Gotterup to have a big week. 18th at the Corales Puntacana Championship and 15th at The CJ Cup Byron Nelson, the American looks a good fit in the Myrtle Beach Classic.

Alex has a top-five finish here before and played pretty well in this event last season, just dropping off the leaderboard in the last round. Having prior knowledge of this course and having played well here many times, he looks a good bet at the price.

Sami Valimaki was a contender in stronger fields on the PGA Tour this season. He had a top 5 finish at huge odds and played well in most of the recent events. I can see him winning the b-competition this week.

Rico Hoey had many good results on the PGA Tour, but no wins. He has 1 Korn Ferry win. But he plays well and can win a secondary tournament like this. T11 at the Houston Open and T12 at Corales recently. He will be top 10 here, can win.

Pierceson Coody was flirting with PGA wins in secondary events a few times. Proven winner at Korn Ferry level, where he has 3 wins. This is his time to shine.

Ricky Castillo is coming off a strong performance at the Byron Nelson. He finished 5th there. He had a good Zurich Classic where he played with Mouw. He can build on those efforts and win at Myrtle Beach.

Jesper Svensson could be in for a good tournament, some of his recent form isn't far behind the current favourite for this , playing quite well in some recent events which were slightly better than this, he may find this a touch easier so could be thereabouts at decent odds.

Rye Hisatsune had good finishes in stronger tournaments where the best played. Top 5 at Valero Texas Open and Valspar Championship this year. He can win this tournament.

Ryan Fox can go well this week. Ryan Fox has been going good this season and finished fourth in this competition last season. He can go well in this competition this week.

Chan has been playing well, finishing top five in Texas and seventh in the Corales prior to that. So if he can bring the form to this event, he looks an excellent each-way chance.

Max Hasalreeqdy has shown what good shape his game is in, finishing fourth in the Cognizant Classic. On a course where being straight off the tee is key to shooting low rounds, he looks like one to be on in this event.

The American golfer was tied fifth at the Valero Texas Open and earlier this year was tied sixth at the Sony Open in Hawaii. I do think with the big names playing the Truist Championship in Philadelphia that Patrick Fishburn can be a contender in the Myrtle Beach Classic as he has three top ten finishes since November in events with similar strength fields.

Matti Schmid will definitely need to find some improvement to be getting into the mix in this but so far in his career, he's shown enough to be at least worth a look. He may actually find this easier than some of those recent events he featured in.

Takumi Kanaya was T5 at The CJ Cup Byron Nelson last week. A week before, he had a decent appearance at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Talented players from the Japanese scene, who maybe finally will reach expectations and win something on the big stage.

Many of the higher-ranked players going into this Myrtle Beach Classic have struggled with their recent form. World-ranked 128 Antoine Rozner has made the cut in his last 10 events and looks a massive price in an open tournament.
EW @
Rikuya Hoshino could be one who does well at these good odds, it's an open looking event where some at good odds could get into the mix. Rikuya has been playing well just lately, likely to improve this year so he may do that today. Looks like this is a course which should suit.

Taylor Dickson made the cut at Myrtle Beach last year. He plays good golf and can follow that with a much better finish this season. Dickson finished 4th at the Zurich Classic, top 30 last week at the Byron Nelson in a much stronger field.

Danish golfer Thorbjørn Olesen is favorite to be the top European golfer at the inaugural Myrtle Beach Classic, but he is very likely to be close to the top of the leaderboard.

Sami Valimaki has been playing well on the US tour and could go well in this first Myrtle Beach Classic. He should finish in the top four European golfers.
