The left hander was 30th last year at Royal Portrush and he has three wins on the PGA Tour including this years Arnold Palmer Invitational. 5th last time out at the Travelers Championship and I am backing the American is going to put a big week together at Royal Birkdale.

3rd at the Cadillac Championship, 3rd at the Charles Schwab Challenge and 10th at the Travelers Championship since The Masters and he was 17th at the US Open. He had a couple of top ten finishes in majors last year and the way he is hitting the ball lately I am backing he will go well in The Open Championship.

Tom Kim won the Genesis Scottish Open last week and I am backing he carries that form into The Open Championship at Royal Birkdale. Runner up three years ago in this major and I am backing Kim challenges on the links course again this week.

The left hander has the perfect game for the links course and his lack of length off the tee isn't a concern given his overall tee to green game. Tenth last year at Royal Portrush, Brian Harman won the Claret Jug two years previous and I am backing the American has another good run in The Open Championship.
