Last season Gemini Star ran six times. She won once and finished second three times. She looked below par on her seasonal reappearance at Thirsk. She races on a pound lower mark today and if able to rediscover her form of last season looks in with a chance.

Davidoc has raced four times over hurdles winning once. That win came following a wind op. That was his fourth hurdle race where he was sent off the odds on favourite and never looked in trouble. This will be his first venture into handicap company, so hopefully his opening mark is not too harsh. Taking Ben Jones to once again be dismounting from Davidoc in the winner's enclosure.
