The Flight Mode slot is played with 6 reels, 3 rows and 729 ways to win. Winning combinations are created when 3, 4, 5 or 6 matching symbols appear from left to right, in any position, across consecutive reels, starting from the leftmost reel. Only the top payout per way to win counts.

The Flight Mode slot comes with lots of extras. Cascades lead to symbol multiplier increases and the chance to win again. Look out for Bomb, xHole, Multiplier Increaser and Golden Multiplier Increaser symbols as these remove symbols, relocate symbols to random positions, double or increase multiplier values. Cascades

When you land a winning combination, the contributing symbols will explode to trigger a Cascade. New symbols the fall in which can allow for another winning combination for form. With each win, the next multiplier value increases by 1 and applies to new symbols that fall in. Furthermore, symbol multipliers are additive.

Base Game Extras

In the base game, look out for special symbols as these trigger their own bonus feature. Details are as follows:

• Bomb: All bomb symbols explode when no winning combinations form. It removes all regular paying symbol on its reel and row, allowing for new symbols to fall/cascade in. With Rubber Duck Wilds and Aeroplane Door Wilds unaffective, bomb explosions unlock Max Win symbols on its reel (on the bottom row).
• xHole: Toilet xHole symbols activate when no wins occur or bombs or Multiplier Increasers appear. All symbols from the main reels are then sucked in and spat out to random positions with the next multiplier value. The xHole symbol then transforms itself into an Aeroplane Door Wild with the next multiplier value.
• Multiplier Increaser: Multiplier Increaser symbols trigger when they land and add its value to the next multiplier value. Removed from once trigger, the multiplier values are either 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x or 10x.
• Golden Multiplier Increaser: Triggering when they land, the double the value of the next multiplier.

Flee Spins

The Flee Spins feature is triggered when you land 3, 4 or 5 Rubber Duck Scatters, with 6, 9 or 12 free spins respectively. The setting is the middle of the ocean where it’s clear the plane has cleared crashed: you’ll see passengers trying to climb on dingies, stranded passengers in the water and sharks circling.

Importantly, the progress of the next multiplier value is kept during the feature with the Max Win symbol remaining unlocked throughout the feature (once unlocked).

Extra Spin

When a spin finishes, you may get the chance to purchase an Extra Spin. I found that Flight Mode is quite a simple game: when you land winning combinations, wining symbols explode and make way for new symbols. With the multiplier value increasing by 1 each time, Multiplier and Golden Multiplier Increaser symbols will boost the next multiplier value significantly if enough land. When no wins occur, Bomb and xHole symbols can land to allow new symbols to fall in, unlock Max Win symbols on the 4^th row and spit out symbols to random positions with the next multiplier value.

I did find the Extra Spin feature quite interesting: it allows you to play an extra spin with the symbol multiplier values remaining. If you get on a roll, you could build up huge wins, especially if you unlock all Max Win symbols on row 4. In the Flee Spins feature, the next multiplier values can only increase and unlocked Max Win symbols remaining unlocked till the bitter end. Unfortunately, it's not available in the UK. 

It does have similarities to Outsourced but also to Duck Hunters with the symbol multiplier increases. With 5,051 x bet max wins, Flight Mode doesn’t offer the max win potential of most other Nolimit City games which will put some players off. However, the way the various bonus features interact with each other will appeal to many.
