Disorder Expert Review
Theme, Audio + Symbols

With a horror theme, the Disorder slot central character is John, a devoted father, loyal husband and pillar of routine. However, one night he came home and things were different: he has a dead look in his eyes and is violent too.
The setting is a 3 storey house somewhere in Miami it seems, with a swimming pool and palm trees: an ideal setting. The soundtrack has a 60s feel to it with is quite eerie. Graphically, the symbols have a sepia colour tone like in Mental and Mental 2.
On the reels, you’ll see a range of household items including a camera, telephone, radio, television set and fridge. The higher-value symbols are represented by members of John’s family, including the dog, daughter, son, wife and John himself. John is the best paying symbol award 3 x bet for 6 in combination.
There is a Wild (that substitutes for other symbols) and several symbols revealed by the Enhancer Cells (such as a Molotov, Delusion, Paranoia Multiplier, Nuclear Wild and xBomb. The other symbol of note is the Bonus symbol, which is key to triggering the various free spins modes.
Disorder Mobile

All NLC slot games use HTML5 technology, meaning the Disorder slot is playable on desktop, mobile and tablet devices. If you’re a smartphone user, it’s compatible with iOS and Android devices, in Portrait Mode. For the best experience, a larger device is always recommended.
Bonus Features
The Disorder slot focuses on Fire Frames and Enhancer Cells which play a significant role in the 3 free spins features. In 2 of them, the win multiplier doesn’t reset and Fire Frames are sticky in 1 of them.
Cascades
When you land a winning combination, the winning symbols are removed from the reels and new ones drop in. Cascades continue until no new winning combination forms.
Fire Frames
In the base game, Fire Frames will appear randomly on the reels: any symbol that appears within a Fire Frame will split into 2 parts. All regular paying symbols can be split into a maximum of 16 symbols for more ways to win. If a Bonus symbol lands in a Fire Frame, it will be upgraded to a Super Bonus symbol.
Enhancer Cells

Like with other Nolimit City games, Disorder uses Enhancer Cells. Appearing at the bottom of reels 2, 4 and 6, Enhancer Cells are activated when Fire Frames land:
- 4 Fire Frames will active the Enhancer Cell on reel 2
- 7 Fire Frames will active the Enhancer Cells on reels 2 and 4
- 9 Fire Frames will active the Enhancer Cells on reels 2, 4 and 6
Now, once the Enhancer Cell on reel 6 is activates, every 2 extra Fire Frames reactivate all Enhance Cells. Every Enhancer Cell will reveal 1 of the following symbols:
- Molotov: a regular paying symbol is randomly chosen to be split, along with all instances. Split into a maximum of 16, it will transform itself into the chosen symbol.
- Delusion: a regular paying symbol is randomly chosen, which transforms it and all instances into the highest paying symbol currently on the reels. It will also transform itself to the highest value symbol.
- Paranoia Multiplier: a random multiplier between 1x and 999x is added to the win multiplier. This applies to all wins until the end of the spin as well as transforming itself into a Wild symbol.
- Nuclear Wild: transforms all regular paying symbol on its reel into Wilds, as well as itself.
- xBomb: all regular paying symbols that are not part of a win are removed, allowing new symbols to drop in. If any instance of a winning symbol appears on a non-winning position, the xBomb won’t remove it: instead it transforms into a Wild symbol.
- Family Symbol: 1 of the 5 family symbols.
Free Spins
With the 3 free spins features, the number of free spins awarded depends on the number of Bonus symbols that trigger the feature: every Bonus symbol will give you 2 free spins with each Super Bonus symbol awarding 3 free spins. In all features, Fire Frames are more likely to appear compared to the base game.
Obsessive Compulsive Spins
To trigger the Obsessive Compulsive Spins feature, you need to see 3 Bonus symbols including at most 1 Super Bonus symbol. With 6 free spins awarded, the win multiplier and Fire Frames reset after every free spin.
Landing 2 or 3 Super Bonus symbols during the feature will upgrade you to the Antisocial Personality Spins feature. If you land 4 Super Bonus symbols, you’ll trigger the Severe Dissociative Identify Spins feature.
Antisocial Personality Spins
The Antisocial Personality Spins feature is activated by landing 3 Bonus symbols including at least 2 Super Bonus symbols. 8 free spins are awarded.
The difference from the Obsessive Compulsive Spins feature is that the win multiplier count will not reset. Landing 2 Super Bonus symbols during the feature will upgrade you to the Severe Dissociative Spins feature.
Severe Dissociative Identity Spins

The Severe Dissociative Identity Spins feature is triggered by landing 4 Super Bonus symbols. With 8 free spins awarded, Fire Frames remain sticky throughout the feature. The win multiplier does not reset either.
Extra Spin
In the Antisocial Personality Spins and Severe Dissociative Identity Spins features, you might get the chance to buy an additional spin at the end of the feature. Known as the Extra Spin feature, the extra spin keeps the win multiplier and Fire Frames (if sticky) of the previous free spin. The cost is calculated based on the win multiplier and Fire Frames: it will only be presented if the cost is less than or equal to the total win.
Nolimit Booster
As is customary with other Nolimit games, there are 3 Nolimit Booster options in Disorder:
- Bonus Booster: Costing 2 x bet, you are more likely to trigger a free spins feature. The RTP is 96.01%.
- Fire Booster: Costing 4 x bet, you increase your chances of landing more Fire Frames and trigger a free spins feature. The RTP is 96.05%.
- Enhancer Booster: Costing 15 x bet, you are guaranteed 9 Fire Frames and more in upcoming spins. The RTP is 96.01%.
Nolimit Bonus
Non-UK players can take advantage of the Nolimit Bonus feature. There are 4 options available:
| Option | Cost | RTP |
|---|---|---|
| Obsessive Compulsive Spins | 80 x bet | 96.11% |
| Antisocial Personality Spins | 300 x bet | 96.09% |
| Severe Dissociative Identity Spins | 800 x bet | 96.06% |
| Lucky Draw (50/50) | 370 x bet | 96.02% |
With the Lucky Draw option, there is a 25%, 50% and 25% chance of triggering the Obsessive Compulsive, Antisocial Personality or Severe Dissociative Identity Spins feature, respectively.
Expert Verdict

Disorder is a horror-themed slot with cascades, Fire Frames, Enhancer Cells and 3 free spins features which can combine for up to 23,500 x bet max wins. However, it’s not as terrifying as other NLC games and doesn’t bring anything unique compared to other games using Enhancer Cells.
Truly terrifying, you are warned when you enter the Disorder slot. It’s about John who has lost of the plot and become violent and dangerous. The sepia tones add a horrifying aspect to the game where it gets you thinking that John has brutally killed his entire family.
With cascades in the base game, Fire Frames randomly appear and split symbols up to a maximum of 16 for many more ways to win. When 4, 7 or 9 Fire Frames land, you’ll active 1, 2 or 3 Enhancer Cells: these reveal an array of special symbols including splitting symbols, symbol transformations, Paranoia Multipliers up to 999x being added to the win multiplier, Nuclear Wilds and xBombs. If these combine favourably, huge wins can land.
Nolimit City is no stranger to Enhancer Cells with Bangkok Hilton, Fire in the Hole 3 and San Quentin 2: Death Row, among others, using them.
Then you have the 3 free spins features: the Antisocial Personality Spins comes with a win multiplier that doesn’t reset and the Severe Dissociative Identity Spins benefit from a non-resetting win multiplier and sticky Fire Frames. The Obsessive Compulsive Spins works like the base game unfortunately.
If the Enhancer Cells modifiers pop off at the same time and in the right order, the Disorder slot can award big wins, with max wins of 23,500 x your total bet. However, I do think this is quite light compared to the 99,999 x bet max wins in Mental 2 and 200,000 x bet max wins in San Quentin: Death Row for example.
Disorder is a typical Nolimit City slot game with plenty of features, modifiers and gore, but it doesn’t offer anything unique apart from the Paranoia Multiplier increase up to 999x. On a horror front, it’s not as shocking as Mental 2 or Serial which might disappoint hardcore NLC fans.
