Now that I've covered the summary, intro, graphics, music, and sound effects, next up are the key game features. This info should help you decide if Bounty Hunters is a yay or a nay.
At OLBG we write slot games reviews that include lots of important info about aspects of the game such as theme, paylines and reels, bet range, and bonuses. I’ll complete the review by talking about my play experience, first impressions and expert verdict so don't go anywhere.
Theme – Wild West
Of course we’ve all heard of characters from the Wild West such as Jesse James, Billy the Kid and Butch Cassidy. These stories are universally popular and translate fantastically for a slot game. There isn't really one star of this show here, there’s a whole cast of them. They’re a gang of mean-looking fellas plus one mean-looking woman. The head honcho is particularly grizzly and has a huge moustache and cigar to complete his scary look. Many of the gang have particularly impressive taches it has to be said.
You’ll find bonus rounds that are fast and furious with plenty of gunfire. When the round finishes you see coffins filled with bodies as well as your win amount on the screen. As it’s a Nolimit City game there are plenty of creepy-looking people and of course, buckets of blood.
On the reels, you’ll discover character symbols which in order from the highest value are a revolver, a pack of cigarettes and some bullets, an amulet necklace, sticks of dynamite and a weapon with rope. These are followed by the standard symbols of A, K, Q, J and 10.
Reels
The Bounty Hunters slot game has the classic 5-reel and 3-row setup.
Paylines
You’ll be able to trigger winning combos on 243 paylines. The Wild icon is a paying icon too and has a value of 5.00.
RTP
Just in case you're not familiar with the RTP acronym, I’m going to include an explanation for what it is. You’ve probably seen RTP written on slots sites and it stands for Return To Player. This is a predicted return of player’s stakes to them over the long term. It is always a percentage figure and is usually around 94% - 96% so the higher, the better. The Bounty Hunters game RTP slightly exceeds the average at 96.07% as I expect to see rates above 96% most of the time.
Slots providers such as Nolimit City have different RTP rates available that they offer to all providers, for this game they offer rates of 94.14% and 92.18% as well as the 96.07% already mentioned. This means that you’ll find different RTPs at various casino sites. Rather than shopping around for the best rates we’ve saved you the bother and added a few RTPs from some of the popular UK online casinos and added them to the table below.
It’s worth pointing out that RTP isn't the only thing to look for when deciding which site to play at. Other factors such as payment options, game library, customer support and welcome bonuses and deals are also important. Our casino reviews analyse these aspects and much more.
If you’re a player who prefers to try a few different games you should look at this page we created with the slot sites we recommend. You’ll find oodles of games that you can play immediately if you're in the UK.
Stake Range
There’s a wide range of stakes available which start at £0.20 and goes right up to £100 for the Bounty Hunters slot game.
Max Win
Every max win element of a Nolimit City slot game is given a name and in this case, it’s called ‘Revelations’ and you can win an impressive 52,310x your stake.
Wild Symbol
Bounty Hunter Wilds are a huge selling point of the game. Here you’ll find a 3-row high Wild symbol that exists on reel 2,3 and 4 and will always nudge to be fully visible. When a part of the Bounty Hunter Wild lands on the reels, it will begin to nudge up or down until it is fully visible on the entire reel. For every step the Bounty Hunter Wild nudges, each nudge increases the multiplier by 1. Several Bounty Hunter Wild multipliers add up to make a total Bounty Hunter Wild multiplier.
There’s a feature related to the Bounty Hunter Wilds entitled Few Dollars More. This is activated when you land a fully stacked Bounty Hunter Wilds on reel 2,3 or 4. During a Few Dollars More all previously stacked Bounty Hunter Wild Symbols will remain sticky for a respin. A new repsin will be awarded on landing any other fully stacked Bounty Wild Symbols during the Few Dollars More round.
Free Spins
There are 2 free spin rounds for the game. Firstly there’s the Raid Spins which are triggered by landing 3 Scatter symbols on reel 2,3 and 4. Here the reel area transforms into a 4x5 reel area in the centre on which ‘Thugs’ and ‘Bosses’ may land. Additionally, the 5-row high reels towards the left and right side plus the 4-reel row at the bottom of the screen will have a ‘Hunter’ on each side. The feature starts with 3 spins and will reset to 3 spins every time a Thug/Boss lands in that reel area.
The second free spins round has been named the Showdown Spins. You enter this round by triggering the bonus symbols on the same row with 3 Scatter symbols. Here the reel area transforms into a 5x5 reel area in the centre on which thugs may land. The Hard Honcho Boss appears in the centre position. In addition to this, 5-row high reels towards the left and right side, and a 5-reel row at the bottom will be present along with 1 Hunter on each side.
The Showdown Spins start with the Hard Honcho Boss surrounded by 12 Thugs in a diamond formation, with 8 of these Thugs directly surrounding it, and the remaining 4 Thugs on the outer positions of the reel area. The feature starts with 3 spins and will reset to 3 spins every time a Thug lands in that reel area.
Jackpot
As you’ll find with the majority of slots nowadays there’s not a jackpot element of the Bounty Hunters game. If jackpots are your thing you should head to our page with the best jackpot slot games.
Play Experience & First Impressions
As soon as you launch the game it's instantly recognisable as a Nolimit City slot, their style is so well known. The storytelling angle of their games is always top-notch as they include strong themes and characters to keep your interest when playing. This game in particular sets an atmospheric Western scene. While playing, I had the Bon Jovi song - Wanted Dead or Alive in my head as it fits its vibe perfectly.
The features were entertaining. I enjoyed the Mexican Standoff Feature which is triggered by landing the bonus symbols on reels 1 and 5 on the same row. This awards a respin for the same row and deactivates the remaining rows which makes it stand out. After this each bonus symbol then becomes a sticky Wild and awards 6x multiplier.
