Conor McGregor moves into 3/1 to be the first fighter to fight at the Las Vegas Sphere
MMA fighter Conor McGregor is now the bookmakers favourite to be the first fighter to scrap in the Las Vegas Sphere at some point this year with bout's set to take place there.
McGregor is set to make his return to the UFC to fight Michael Chandler at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on the 29th June but Dana White could change his mind and book it for the Sphere instead.
White has previously said that his promotion have the Sphere booked for Mexican Independence Day in September this year but a McGregor fight could push plans forward.

What the expert says...
Long time favourite Francis Ngannou is set to fight Anthony Joshua later this year in Saudi Arabia
Francis Ngannou had been a long-time favourite to be the first to fight at the Sphere but his odds have since drifted after a fight with Anthony Joshua was confirmed.
Ngannou's stock rose massively since his fight against Tyson Fury where he dropped the unbeaten Heavyweight Champion to the canvas during the bout.
Many thought that Ngannou deserved to win but Fury was awarded the points victory and since then talk turned to Ngannou fighting at the Sphere.
Now though he is pencilled in to fight Anthony Joshua in Saudi Arabia on Friday 8 March and it'll be clear then to see what his next move will be after that.
UFC CEO Dana White revealed the promotion has the Sphere booked this year
Dana White, CEO of MMA promotion UFC told reporters back at the end of 2023 that his promotion have booked the MSG Sphere for September 14th next year.
White said that the promotion have booked the arena to honour Mexican Independence weekend with the holiday falling on September 16th.
The UFC CEO admitted that it would be a "massive challenge" but that it'll be "the greatest live combat sports show anybody has ever seen."
