Ball or Waddingham? Early Market Leaders Explained
Zoe Ball is a familiar face for Strictly fans, having previously co-hosted It Takes Two for a decade.
Her BBC pedigree and close ties to the Strictly production team make her a logical frontrunner. If the producers are looking for comfort, she fits the brief.
Meanwhile, Hannah Waddingham has soared in popularity following her standout roles in Ted Lasso, The Fall Guy, and co-hosting duties at the Eurovision Song Contest.
Rylan Clark (4/1) is another serious contender. A long-time Strictly superfan and former It Takes Two co-host, he’s witty, popular with viewers and already proven in live TV.
Current It Takes Two co-presenters Fleur East and Janette Manrara follow next in the betting market.
What the expert says...
Who’s a Long Shot Worth Watching?
While stars like Alison Hammond (6/1) and Bradley Walsh (8/1) may not be top of the market, both are highly capable live presenters with established BBC profiles.
Anton Du Beke is currently judge on the show but he could change that for a presenter role, potentially becoming the Bruce Forsyth of a new partnership.
Wildcard options include Michael McIntyre and Graham Norton though their current commitments may limit availability.
Until an official shortlist is released, punters can expect further shifts in this market.
