Eddie Howe bookies favourite to be the next Celtic manager

Eddie Howe is a manager who is in great demand lately, after being linked with various different roles including the vacant Newcastle job.

Howe though has been linked with Celtic ever since leaving his last role at Bournemouth, with the Scottish giants after a manager to take them to the next level.

Ange Postecoglou is currently the manager of Celtic but they currently see themselves 4 points behind Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership and are out to 7/4 with bookies to win the league.

With Rangers already odds on favourites at 2/5, it could be a tough few months for Postecoglou's men and there may start to be pressure on his job.

Eddie Howe seems to be in every single betting market for managerial vacancies at the moment and he is a heavy favourite to take over at Newcastle with bookmakers.

Eddie Howe looks to be a well sought after manager lately and is the 13/5 favourite with bookmakers to take over at Celtic next.

Brendan Rodgers 7/2 to make shock return to Celtic Park

Brendan Rodgers is currently flying high at Leicester City, winning the FA Cup with them last season and performing well in the Europa League.

Rodgers has been linked with the Manchester United and Manchester City jobs in recent weeks according to reports, but a return to Celtic isn't off the cards according to bookmakers.

At odds of 7/2, bookies make him second favourite in the market and if Celtic remain in his heart he may want to return to the club that he was so successful at as manager.

Rodgers won 7 trophies as manager at Celtic Park, including back to back league titles and it was that role that really made him be discussed as a top manager again after his dismissal at Liverpool the year previous.

Next Celtic Manager Odds Implied Probability

Roy Keane 10/1 in the market to take over at Celtic next

Roy Keane is one of the most entertaining, albeit controversial, pundits that are currently on television in Britain at the moment, but he may want to change that role and go back into management.

On a recent episode of Gary Neville's Overlap Show, Keane has stated that he would like to go back into management at some point and that he still has something to offer.

Keane of course did have a spell as player at Celtic but has since spoke about his "embarrassment" of his time there.

The lure of going back to Celtic Park as a manager may make him want to make a return and throw into that mixture the fact that old rival Steven Gerrard is Rangers manager may add fuel to that fire.

At odds of 10/1 with bookmakers, Keane is 4th favourite in the betting market, but the fact that he is currently without a club therefore there's no compensation payments may help his cause.

Roy Keane is 10/1 to swap punditry for management with bookmakers, with the betting market suggesting there's a chance that Keane takes over at Celtic Park.
