Cunha Exit Rumours Spark Next Club Market Shake-Up

Matheus Cunha continues to be linked with a move away from Wolves and with the summer transfer window fast approaching, bookmakers have now opened a fresh market on his next club.

The Brazilian has been one of Wolves' brightest attacking sparks and interest from other Premier League clubs has seen bet365 install Newcastle and Manchester United as early frontrunners in the betting.

Newcastle are currently given a 22.2% implied probability of signing Cunha according to the early market, with Eddie Howe's side leading the way.

"I’ve made it clear that I need to take the next step. I want to fight for titles, for big things. I have potential", Cunha told the Guardian last month.

What the expert says...
Cunha’s technical profile and pressing ability make him a strong fit for several top-six clubs. Newcastle’s position as favourite makes sense given their likely summer reshuffle, but don’t ignore the price on a Manchester United move if players leave.

Manchester United (4/1) are not far behind as second favourites in the market and with question marks around the long-term futures some of their attacking players, Cunha could slot in as a dynamic forward option with Premier League experience.

Further down, Liverpool (6/1) and Arsenal (13/2) remain speculative but credible destinations if either club moves on from fringe attacking players in the summer window.

The market has Cunha staying at Wolves as a longshot with odds of 8/1 given that he doesn't leave this summer.
