Gareth Southgate now 11/4 to join Manchester United in the summer

Bookies are now offering betting odds on where Gareth Southgate could end up this summer with the latest betting odds now at 11/4 for him to take over at Manchester United.

Southgate has been linked with the United job in recent months with questions marks around Erik ten Hag's future in charge and he features towards the top of the betting market.

With odds of 11/4, only Thomas Tuchel is above Southgate in BetVictor's betting market to take over at Old Trafford next with the German manager the 2/1 favourite to take over.

Southgate also features in other betting markets for different roles but his odds for other jobs are much bigger than the odds to become the next Manchester United manager.

Southgate mentions retirement on Tuesday after the announcement of his England team

Southgate discussed his future as England manager with Sky News on Tuesday after he announced his England squad saying he is fully focused on his current role.

The current England boss spoke about leading his country at the Euros saying, "If we can do that, maybe I'll retire and do nothing anyway."

Southgate has not managed at club level in 15 years since he left Middlesbrough and he said he would not consider any other role while he's competing at the Euros in Germany.
