I break betting odds news as it happens, so you’re never left behind when the market moves or a top offer lands.

  • Vítor Pereira sacked after 10 winless PL games as Wolves sit bottom of the table
  • Brendan Rodgers (2/1) leads the market to replace him, with ten Hag (5/2) close behind
  • Under-21 boss James Collins to oversee training while the board finalises appointment

Wolves have sacked head coach Vítor Pereira after a dismal start to the Premier League season and betting sites have quickly installed Brendan Rodgers as the early 2/1 favourite to take over at Molineux.

Pereira’s departure comes after Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at Fulham, leaving Wolves bottom of the table with eight losses and no wins from 10 games.

Following a toxic reaction from supporters during the previous week’s 3-2 home defeat to Burnley, the club announced a full coaching staff clear-out on Sunday.

Now BetVictor's latest betting odds give an implied probability of 33.3% that Rodgers becomes the next Wolves boss after he left Celtic in October.

Rodgers, who recently left Celtic, is the early frontrunner.

Meanwhile, former Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is available after a short stint at Bayer Leverkusen.

Pereira Out After Winless Run

Appointed in December 2024, Pereira steered Wolves to safety last season with six straight wins but failed to build on that momentum.

After signing a three-year deal in September, he now leaves the club bottom of the league and eight points from safety.

“Results and performances this term have fallen below acceptable standards,” read a club statement.
