Elon Musk has agreed a deal to take over Social Media platform Twitter for a reported $44 billion fee.
Since bidding for the platform less than two weeks ago, Musk has repeatedly come back with better offers and it ended up taking $44bn to seal the deal.
Bookmakers give odds of 1/2 that Elon Musk becomes the CEO of Twitter in 2022, with the takeover not necessarily meaning that Musk will install himself as the CEO.
