I break betting odds news as it happens, so you’re never left behind when the market moves or a top offer lands.

  • Man City now 7/4 favourites after semi-final draw places them against holders Newcastle.
  • Arsenal and Crystal Palace meet next Tuesday to decide Chelsea’s semi-final opponent.
  • Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle all sit under 5/1 in a tight market.

Man City Lead the Market After Confident Quarter-Final Win

After a comfortable 2-0 victory over Brentford, Manchester City have surged to the top of the Carabao Cup winner market with bookmakers at 7/4, with Pep Guardiola’s side eyeing another domestic trophy.

City were paired with defending champions Newcastle United in the semi-final draw.

The two-legged tie begins at St James’ Park, but the bookmakers still make City clear favourites given their pedigree in the competition.

The other semi-final will see Chelsea take on either Arsenal or Crystal Palace, who meet in the final quarter-final clash next Tuesday.

Arsenal currently sit second in the betting at 12/5, while Palace are big outsiders at 18/1 with bet365.

Two-Legged Semi-Finals Offer Intrigue

With the semi-finals set to be played over two legs once again, home advantage in the first leg may not be as significant, although Newcastle’s record at St James’ Park this season has been strong.

Arsenal and Palace have their sights set on joining Chelsea in the other half of the draw.

The Gunners have been in excellent domestic form and will go into next week’s tie as strong favourites, potentially setting up a high-stakes London derby in the semi-final.

Chelsea, meanwhile, are chasing their first Carabao Cup win since 2015, and Enzo Maresca may see this competition as the most realistic path to silverware this season.

Expert Insight

What the expert says...
City’s cup dominance is hard to ignore, and even with Newcastle up next, the 7/4 price is understandable. But Arsenal at 12/5 might offer better value if they navigate Palace and face Chelsea.
