Oti Mabuse is now the evens favourite to be the next judge on Britain's Got Talent
Former Strictly Come Dancing star and current Dancing On Ice judge Oti Mabuse is the new bookies favourite to be a judge on Britain's Got Talent.
Mabuse has also been a panellist on The Masked Dancer and her work on ITV could well put her in pole position for the role.
William Hill now give her a 50% chance of being the next permanent judge on the show just ahead of former favourite Mo Gilligan
Britain's Got Talent - Next Permanent Judge | Odds | Probability |
---|---|---|
Oti Mabuse | 1/1 | 50.0% |
Mo Gilligan
|
3/1 | 25.0% |
Joel Dommett | 9/2 | 18.2% |
Joe Lycett | 5/1 | 16.7% |
Stephen Mulhern | 14/1 | 6.7% |
Joe Lycett features in the betting to be the next BGT judge just a day after he became favourite to be the new presenter for Bake Off.
Mo Gilligan was favourite just last week but has since drifted in the betting
Comedian Mo Gilligan had been tipped to take over from David Walliams as the new judge on Britain's Got Talent just last week.
The latest betting odds have seen Gilligan drift slightly to 3/1 second favourite to replace the departing Walliams as a judge on the popular talent show on ITV.
Gilligan is already a big character on ITV starring as a panellist on The Masked Singer and similar to Mabuse, the channel may want to keep their next judge in-house.
When will Britain's Got Talent 2023 air?
Next year's series of Britain's Got Talent has no set start date but judging by previous years of the show we will likely see it start in April.
The 2022 series of the show began on April 16th and we'll likely see a similar weekend in April kicking off next year's show.
Simon Cowell and BGT reportedly signed a deal at the beginning of the year to stay on ITV until at least 2025 and the talent show has shown no signs of stopping.
