Festive season is fast approaching and with it comes one of the UK’s most iconic musical traditions, the race for the Official Christmas Number 1.
The Official Charts Company has confirmed that the 2025 Christmas chart-topper will be revealed on Friday, December 19, during The Official Chart with Jack Saunders on BBC Radio 1.
According to the latest odds from betting experts, WHAM! are the strong odds-on favourites to claim the crown for a third consecutive year, with Last Christmas continuing to ride the wave of its seasonal resurgence.
After securing the 2023 and 2024 Christmas Number 1 spots, WHAM!’s Last Christmas has firmly cemented itself as the definitive modern festive anthem.
