Since the beginning of the month of May there has been significant support for the Shadow Secretary of State for Health and Social Care Wes Streeting to become the next Labour leader as his odds have more than halved from 10/1 to just 4/1, before settling back at 6/1 in the last few days
Andy Burnham remains the favourite at 5/1 but was as short as 7/2 for an extended period back in February. His price with bookmakers of gaining the position having lengthened off the back of the bets being placed on Streeting

Next PM
Whilst all that is going on, following the local by-elections at the start of the month, there has also been movement in the Next PM betting, with Liz Truss, the former favourite having dropped in the betting and Current Leader of the Labour Party Kier Starmer currently the 5/1 favourite. Although support for Starmer has dropped somewhat since he was 6/4 back in January.
