Anthony Joshua is as short as 1/12 to beat Jermaine Franklin on Saturday evening

Anthony Joshua makes his return on Saturday evening against American Jermaine Franklin and as always UK betting sites are offering odds on who will win the fight.

This will be Joshua's first appearance in the ring since August last year where he lost to Oleksandr Usyk for the second fight in a row.

AJ will be looking for an emphatic performance to put him right back into the title conversation and realistically only a knockout win would do that here.

TalkSPORT Bet say that Joshua is 1/12 to win the fight and 1/4 to win it via KO, TKO or Disqualification in what should be straightforward for the British fighter.

American Franklin is as big as 7/1 to beat AJ in Saturday's bout

Jermaine Franklin will be looking to bounce back from the first loss of his career last time out against Dillian Whyte with a win here against Anthony Joshua.

That bout against Whyte saw the British fighter win by Majority Decision with many feeling that the fight should have been a draw or Franklin win.

The American himself said after that fight that he "believed he was robbed" and will have an extra fire in his gut going into this bout.

The latest betting odds say there's just a 12% chance that Franklin gets an upset victory against Joshua on Saturday night.
