Style Of Life looks a lively contender in the 7:50 at Thirsk. She has already shown winning form over this course and distance, and her current mark of 75 gives her a chance if bouncing back from her latest run. With P J McDonald booked, she could be primed for a big effort.

7.50T TRAVIS Course winner who's turned out again quickly after running only 14 days ago. Won at Redcar in June in a class 6 over 7f with rating 59. Rating went up to 65 as a result and has ran three times since all in class 6 finishing decent 3rd place in all of them the latest off a rating of 63. Interesting today stepped up to a class 5 with rating down to 62. Worn before Cheekpieces go back on with now usual jockey on board.

Palmarian looks an interesting each-way option in a competitive handicap. He has already shown he handles 1m on quick ground, winning at Leicester three starts ago before following up with a solid second. That latest Doncaster run is easy enough to forgive after racing too keenly. Still on a workable mark and carrying just 8st 9lb, he looks capable of outrunning his price if getting a strong pace to aim at.

DEGALE has fallen a long way in the weights since a near miss at the start of the season in Nottingham. A fair run from a higher grade when running here in June, so even though there's not been much to hang your hat on too since then, there's a chance he bounces back, and the run last time out was an improvement.

Simon Whitaker's inconsistent Miss Willows was just touched by a nose last time out at Beverley in June. She runs here today off a three-pound higher mark and could be helped by the slightly longer trip. Even though she rarely runs the same way twice, she could be worth a small each-way bet here, with four places being paid.
