Sent off a short priced favourite when beaten over further at Sedgefield last month. Looked in need of the run that day following an 8 month absence and on stable debut. Will improve and come on for that run.

Last season Walking On A Dream ran in three hurdle races and won one of them. The win came on soft ground over two miles at Ayr. This year he was sent chasing and has raced twice. The first of those was at Ayr where he finished third after just over two miles. He then went up in distance to Hexham and finished second. Today he travels to Newcastle and takes another step up in distance. He appears to be going in the right direction with his chasing career, and with his jockey claiming five pounds he must have a decent chance of winning his first race over the larger obstacles.

Honestly believe this would have won if not for jumping out to his left at Musselburgh last time out. He gave away so much ground, so reverting to a left-handed track has to help. Blinkers also go on and I'm sure he will come good sooner or later. The price is way too big in my book.

Uptown Harry is an experienced veteran who has finished in the first three places in nine of his chases. The horse has not fallen or unseated in any of his 41 races under rules. Uptown Harry stays well and likes a soft surface. He is twelve pounds lower in the weights compared to his last win.

Court At Slip is trained by Tim Easterby. This gelding is dual CD winner . Inconsistent last year but Newcastle form is very good ( 14121). Won twice on todays ground . Mr.William Easterby won 5 times with this horse , three times at this track . With his 5lb claim they can return to winning way .

You may look at CHEMICAL WARFARE’s last four outings and think this won’t be winning any time soon. However, his mark has receded and is now 3lb below his last winning mark. The nine-year-old has a fantastic record when venturing north, as displayed by three victories at Sedgefield and two over C&D. The fact they are sending one runner this far suggests that he’ll be trying his best and he’s no 16/1 shot.

Has finished runner-up in two of her three starts over hurdles since returning from a four-month break, including when tried in a first-time hood at Doncaster two starts ago. She went up further in distance last time at Uttoxeter but failed to handle the heavy ground. She needs to bounce back here on better ground but is interesting moving into handicaps for her chase debut.

Jimmy Fyffe owns and inform? Trainer Sandy Thomson trains with Brian Hughes in the saddle. He has appeared in the saddle for connections with results occurring. Bay gelding who is sired by Mahler, a top-quality National Hunt pedigree, who I believe is no longer with us. After a number of races over hurdles, he goes chasing and this could be the making of him. Over hurdles he may have been outpaced at vital points of the races he has been in. With chasing, Brian Hughes may have him in a good position, attacking his fences with zest. That could see him being a strong player here.

Won once from 9 starts over hurdles and has shown plenty of promise in 4 starts over fences, placing once. Each-way chance if building on that form.
