Returns after a 6-month break following an excellent season in Class One and group races. If he is race-ready, then he looks to be the favourite in this race. Win bet.

Albert Einstein was the pre-season 'talking horse' for the O'Brien yard. He was 6th of 10, beaten 4 lengths. That was a reappearance and it was on heavy ground (he hadn't raced on that before). He was also nursed home once the race had gone. He should be sharper now and has better ground and can answer some doubters. Zavateri proved to be a class act last season but was just not quite good enough for the Dewhurst. He looks sure to be suited by this track. Won first time up last year.

Kept on well when winning over a mile at Meydan at the end of February, and should be staying on here dropping back to 7 furlongs.

Put up a better RPR (95) than any of these managed in debut. That was over a mile here, and he showed a very smart turn of foot to win with relative ease for all he didn’t beat much. It was also on soft ground, so there are plenty of unknowns about this, but I’d have no concerns there even if this is a fact finding message on where to send him next. He won as he liked really, so whilst this is clearly a new level, and some standard is set by Zavateri, he’s entitled to take his chance given that debut effort. I’d be hopefully we see this run at a fair clip with a three way go for the lead bringing in this horse potential stamina reserves.

Not a stranger to this class. Had a strong effort at Ascot over 6f and a solid 3rd at York in a deep field. Bit of a tester this race. Does well on this ground and is joint 3rd in the ratings.
