The beaten favourite over 5 furlongs in a Class 5 at Newbury last time out. Had a 33-day break and is of interest stepping up in trip and eased in grade to Class 6.

This horse won a class five race over course and distance in October. Has generally struggled for form this year but drops into a class six race from five pounds below that last winning mark. Good jockey booking and worth chancing each-way with four places currently on offer.

So long as the outside draw isn't too much of an inconvenience, this ex-Hugo Palmer gelding can go well. His last run at Epsom can be safely ignored, and he's better judged on the race before over the minimum at this track.

Vitalline is a multiple winner on Polytrack, including over today's distance and at Lingfield. He has scored off a higher mark than today's official rating and goes well for Josephine Gordon. Eight years old now, but nothing to show he is a back number.

Outsider of the field, which may not be justified. Its recent runs do have excuses, either racing out of its depth or its shoe came off. It's a front runner, so it will need to get the fractions right, but I think it has a fair shot at the placings.
