We're Goosers is a big bay gelding who ran away with a 7f Newmarket handicap by nearly ten lengths and then ran in the Britannia Stakes at Royal Ascot raised 11 pounds but was still made favourite but in hindsight he had no chance on the wrong side of the course and ended up an eased off last of 30. He is ideally drawn low here to run prominently throughout over 7f.

The top four places in this race will be prize-winning. In these circumstances, Wild Desert has an excellent chance of capitalizing on his good speed to finish in the top four. This colt from Charlie Appleby's stable has already won one race and, with the successful jockey William Buick in the saddle, is a genuine contender for a prize-winning place.

If we ignore Startled's last run, which I think we should, he has been most progressive in 2026. He has won at the course, which is a definite plus. Richard Hughes jocks up the good five-pound claimer, Harry Vigors, to make the task as manageable as possible.

Three runs this year for the 3yo. He was a narrow winner last time out, which was a first run over this 7f trip and he showed a very willing attitude in the final furlong. Just a 2lb higher mark for this handicap, plenty room for more improvement and he's in much better hands now.

Could well be coming into this race with a Newmarket Class3 win but was narrowly beaten by Ironwill and made a good imppression that day and confirmed that day hes a 7 Furlong horse (todays trip). Stable form a slight worry bit looks overpriced to me @ 16. 4Pl
